Diversity & Inclusion

Our purpose at oxbridgeducation is to provide True Service for everyone and every organization.

Everyone means everyone.

Working with colleges, universities and businesses globally, our colleagues represent multiple nationalities, as well as the many cultures, religions, races, sexualities, backgrounds and beliefs that make the world such an interesting place. It makes for a diverse and inclusive culture we’re proud of, and it’s why our purpose is to provide True Service for everyone. We’re a business all about people – with our colleagues, together we create a diverse and inclusive culture that’s valued by our customers, and the talent of tomorrow who choose to work with us. We just wouldn’t be able to achieve great things if we were all the same. Our special culture is crucial to who we are, how we work together and how we grow our business.

Why is D&I so important?

We are a business on the move, with an exciting growth ambition. Our business is more globally connected and interdependent than ever before, and this requires a culture where we draw upon different ideas and experiences to succeed in new and diverse markets. It is this type of environment that sparks innovation, and develops the talent we need as we grow. We also know that consumers are changing too. They expect greater transparency around the environment companies create for their workforce, as do governments and industry bodies. More than ever, this is changing how brands are perceived by consumers, employees, owners and investors.

We are a business on the move, with an exciting growth ambition and new growth behaviors – and we can only succeed by working as one team.

Education should be a powerful force for social change

Cultivating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Your Curriculum

One area we are working on with colleges and universities is how to infuse Diversity and Inclusion into your curriculum. Racial and cultural diversity are hallmarks of our society. To celebrate this diversity, and cultivate harmony and respect for all peoples, educators must nurture equality and inclusion within the classroom. Students enter the classroom carrying an assortment of beliefs. This may include racial and cultural prejudices picked up from their neighborhoods, pop culture, and their families. Educators can help combat prejudice and racial discord by supporting positive behaviors among students, fostering a sense of belonging for all students and their families, and instilling respect for all peoples.

Promoting diversity and inclusion

Oxbridgeducation works with college and universities in creating and distributing materials which are taught in many countries. We have long been committed to ensuring authenticity in the way we portray characteristics such as race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, social class, religious belief and disability in our course development and materials. As we look to the future, and imagine a world we want to live in, we believe it is important to examine how we create these materials and courses. Our aim is to ensure that what we produce are bias-free, inclusive and actively anti-racist. Let us know how we can help your institution with DEI curriculum initiatives.
